Göteborgs Romanfestival is a new yearly event coming to Göteborg for the first time in November. In this years edition you will meet authors and literary scholars discussing Joyce Carol Oates and Maria Gripe. About the novel as form, genre and invention – amongst other things.
I was very happy when the festival asked me to make an installation and sound work on the topic shadows and the author Maria Gripe for this special occation. I am also very happy that the artist – Henrik Persson – will follow me on this one. Henrik is also my brother and this will be the first collaboration between us as both artists and brothers and sisters!

Tillsammans (Together) is an upcoming exhibition for children and their adults at The Museum of World Culture in Göteborg, Sweden, opening in November 21, 2015. Currently, I am completing 4 soundscapes ( one four channel work and three stereo works) about the difficulties and the magics of living together.
While waiting for November to come, I will finish my work by recording a bit more with these plants. By the time of the opening you will be able to find them somewhere in the swarm of impressions. The exhibition will stay around for many years so take your time, no need to rush. And the museum encourages you to come back more than once to explore more with your young friends!

Street Art Österlen is an art project and international street art festival that took place in south of Sweden, July 2015. Neta Norrmo, journalist and film maker, filmed the works of 15 artists growing on empty walls into colorful murals thoughout the countryside of the south of Sweden. The result of following these art processes will lead to an audio visual poetic documentary by Neta, who also asked me to add a couple of sound art works to the film. Clips and sounds were sent back and forth during a collaborative process that reached its first destination in Tomelilla where it was screened and debated as a Work in Progress on September 22. As soon as winter has delivered a white coat to the southern parts, the last pictures will be filmed in order to make the film complete. We will keep you updated on where, when and how you will be able to see the film at its full length!

Tuesdays performance together with flautist Anna Melander became as experimental and improvised as we wished. Here are some pictures from our experience at Viva Las Palmas. A special thanks to our friends Nils Berg, Josef Kallerdahl and Viktor Skokic who invited us to play at their fantastic event, and a warm thanks to Strapelia Asterias for making a beautiful shadow play behind us!

The story of the whale that got stranded in Gothenburg in 1865 turns into an application this weekend and the video and sound art work Genom glas is included. Do you want to video walk with us? Please meet us at the release Dec 6!
The Malmska valen application for iPhone, is a collection of video walks that walk you through the city physically and leads you through historical reviews as well as fiction. Along the journey several art works are staged by dance, music, film, sound art and text based monologue. The application is a collaboration between the Museum of Natural History of Gothenburg, The Museum of Gothenburg and the 3 curators Petra Johansson, Neta Norrmo and Sarah Schmidt.
Shiny jars of glass filled with guts, brains, eyes and other organs originated from the whale was what caught my eyes the most while looking through the pictorial material made by the 3 curators. A series of documentations from the catacombs of the Museum of Natural History inspired me to create the video and sound art piece Genom glas (Through Glass) that now is incorporated in the application. The sounds are composed independently but inspired by the video material.
Download “Malmska valen” at AppStore, bring you in-ears and have some ginger breads and glögg with me and the curators at the release!
Please make sure to download the free download application at AppStore in advance since it is quite heavy. Search for “Malmska valen” in your browser.
