Textile concert

”Impression in the ear – Expression by the hand” is a textile concert performed live in July 5 2023 at Ramnakyrkan in Borås, Sweden. Through sound and music the performers investigates, experiments and draws attention to the sounding world that they find themselves in through their craft.
The concert is a part of a bigger project which highlights the phenomenon of the textile work and the textile industry around Sjuhärad in the western part of Sweden. The experiments take place at selected locations in the textile route and draw on practical and artisanal judgments that the practitioner makes use of through sound. The experiments are realised through workshops, dialogue and interviews with people committed to textile craft.
